SPE - Lloydminster Section represents a large area of east central Alberta and west central Saskatchewan primarily known for its heavy to medium crudes. The Lloydminster section works hard to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and information for the benefit of people either directly working within this area or for people looking to advance their knowledge on topics related to the area our section represents. To achieve this - knowledge and information exchange -we host eight technical luncheons yearly and an Annual Heavy Oil Technical Symposium every September.
